I cannot imagine running a gallery without Spinnsoft Gallery software. Spinnsoft is so crucial to all aspects of our business. From keeping track of paintings and frames to noting clients preferences, it is an indispensable tool. I was introduced to Spinnsoft software while working for a previous employer.  Spinnsoft software was one of the first things that I implemented.

There are many things that I like about Spinnsoft Software, but I would have to say that one of me favorite features is the ability to keep track of costs associated with each painting. At the click of a mouse, framing and restoration costs are at my fingertips in addition to full restoration reports.

Additional features which are nice are: the ability to retrieve cost of goods for the accountant, the ability to print all types of wall labels for art shows (museum narrative style as well as the standard artist, title, size and price), the ability to maintain your own database (no need to worry about whether the mailing house is remembering to delete old addresses), the ability to print envelopes, the ability to track paintings that were exhibited at previous art shows, the ability to track who was offered what painting, the ability to keep track of what clients have bought, the ability to know particulars about a painting without having to look for a measuring tape. I could go non and on. Spinnsoft software is a crucial component to the ongoing success of our business.

 

One additional very important feature of Spinnsoft software is the phenomenal technical support that is provided. Previous to using Spinnsoft, our gallery engaged the services of another database specialist. When we encountered a "bug" in that software, the other specialist told us that he would be able to help us in two weeks. With Spinnsoft, you do not have to wait two weeks for a solution to your problems. Often, the same afternoon that a problem is brought to Spinnsoft’s attention, it is resolved.
